What is a blog?

Blogs....what the heck are they? Being a math teacher, writing and I are not friends. (Reading and I are getting reaquianted.) Spelling is not my friend either. I am doing this so Emily D can keep up with what is going on. I already miss her.



This blog is named after Jewel and Shadrack, the best kids a mom could have. I have included their picture below. Aren't they cute?

Jewel is the brown and black cat reclining. Shadrack is the larger tabby-looking cat. (For all cat lovers, he is part maine-coon.)
