Christmas has come and gone. School didn't get out until Dec. 21st, so Christmas cards just didn't happen. (I will send them next year, but I usually have a week before Christmas to get things done.) I figure I will post some pictures. I took plenty, but they take forever to load on blogger. (I would do facebook, but most of the family isn't on facebook.) Enjoy!

Jason brings out the evil in Jewel

The image to the left is the Vampire Bat at the Louisville Zoo. Compare this image with "Evil Jewel." Notice the bat like ears and mouth.

You should know by now that Jewel does not like Jason. He not only can't spell her name (he spells it Jewell) he brought Shadrack into the house. Please note that Jason is the one making her do the "bat face." (I guess I am not innocent since I took the picture. She can ALWAYS run away!)

Jason has dubbed Jewel as "bat face." Please note the side view of the bat face. If you go to the zoo and look at vampire bats, they look very similar!

I am still running around crazy. I am presenting at a conference in Lexington over the weekend. I am also joining the U of L alumi pep band. Don't ask how I have the time.

Busy busy busy

Well, I am very busy right now with school. However, it is starting to become manageable. I am actually not as stressed anymore. And I have had more parent compliments this year than in years past. They love my emails and communication! I will try to post more pictures of Jewel and the carpet. I just don't have time to do "silly stuff." Also, my school computer is strictly school right now. I promise to get back to posting eventually.

Florida Pictures

Ok, I have really no time to breathe. However, we did go to Florida over Labor day and here are a few pictures. Side note: I have a killer picture of me on the beach, but to honor my husband I will not post it. (But I look really good!!)
