Even MORE pictures from Mexico
Note about riding horses in Mexico: It is fun. However, don't tell boarder patrol!! They took me into the "back room" and asked me the same questions over and over. At the end, they wanted to look at my shoes to see if I was bringing dirt back into the USA! Is it just me or did at least 25 other people on the boat ride a horse in Mexico?
Cruisin' 'Round the Baja!
In 1995, my parents "lovingly" abandoned Jennifer and I to go on a cruise. They took Emily b/c she didn't have school, but we did. Until the day my dad died, he would always talk about how much he loved the cruise. For those of you that didn't know my dad, he liked two things: Eating and talking. Well, that and being waited on hand and foot pretty much sums up a cruise. I now know why Dad loved it so much!! I gained a little weight from eating so much. (Nothing the cereal diet didn't take care of!!) Can you say 24 hour ice cream??
The only bummer was my motion sickness meds. I never have been car sick until this vertigo crap, but I decided not to take any chances. However, after wearing the patch I discovered the WONDERFUL side effects: Dilated pupils and dry mouth. Granted I wasn't puking, but I had the eyes of a middle aged woman! I now understand and appreciate it when people say "my arms are too short to read this." Anyway, enough about me. Check out the pictures of the "Geeks on Parade!" (My mom coined this phrase. I don't know why!) I am not going to label the pictures. I think they are self explanatory. Except Emily (aka Sands).....she had this thing about making stupid faces. She says she is just being natural.........
Cruise Pictures
Here is the sign. It took FOREVER to take it!
I liked taking pictures of the sun from the boat. No smog to screw up the view!!
